The WACLEA Board of Directors met on Thursday, June 1st 2000 for its scheduled quarterly meeting. Officers and
representatives from Oregon, Washington and British Columbia attended the meeting. Among the items discussed was
he resignation of Steve Rittereiser as secretary of our organization and from the committees he has chaired. Steve was
recently elected as Region 8 Director in IACLEA. We anticipate continued cooperation between the Western and
International associations through Steve's good offices. In other business, the spring conference was put to bed and initial
planning was begun for the fall conference. Committee chairs are being sought for a variety of positions. Members interested in
participating in legislative, awards, corporate sponsorship, or management assistance program activities should contact
Walter Hudsick, current WACLEA president.
